The Colour of the Wind

The colour of the wind is forever changing.

As quoted from A walk to Remember, Mandy Moore says, love is like the wind, I cannot see it but I feel it.

To me this is a great example of the colour of the wind. I think it is our moods and attitude that dictate the colour of the wind to ourselves and influences the way we see and interpret each and every day.

On a sad miserable winter’s day, I think the colour of the wind is grey. On a crisp autumn morning the colour of the wind is burnt orange, on a peaceful spring morning the colour of the wind is green and pink and on a hot summers day I hope there is wind! If there is wind it would definitely be yellow and red!

However, if I am in a sad mood on a hot summer’s day, the colour of the wind would not be yellow and orange it would be grey because I would be seeing the wind according to my mood and feelings and not the way it should be.

Only those with imaginative and creative minds can really see the true colours of the wind.

  1. I think everyone has there on way of seeing the colour of the wind. I agree that it has to do with our emotions and the way we feel in that particular moment but maybe our perspective has influence into it as well.

In the quote from a walk to remember it emphasises that we can't see the wind but we can feel it and so I think that is the reason why our feelings affect the colour of the wind because we can feel it.

  2. I love your take on the colour of the wind. That Mandy Moore is a real wise one. But its so true that they way we feel often determines how we see or the way we feel about things. Pretty cool I think. There's a life lesson in this. If you pretend long enough to be happy and positive, eventually you will feel that way for real.

  3. I'm with you on this one. The colour of the wind is all about our emotions, but not just about our emotions, the nature as well.

The wind also plays a major role on my emotions. That is why I love the summer. Your quote out of 'A walk to Remember', is so true.

  4. I too believe that the colour of the wind works with one's creative and imaginative emotions. And depending on how you feel on a particular day, the wind can be any colour you want it to be.
