It is a poor idea to lie to yourself

I agree with this statement 100%. How can you ever be honest with anyone else if you can’t even be honest with yourself. How can any friendship or relationship ever form on the bases of a lie?

Sometimes life can be scary and it is hard to face the truth. It is even harder to be honest with ourselves. I am often scared of things but I would rather push those thoughts to the back of my head then actually have to face them and deal with them. But, these thoughts, worries and issues never go away and they always going to be there until you tackle them and sort them out.

Sometimes you need to take a leap of faith and trust yourself and your decisions. You need to believe in yourself to be able to live each and every day to the fullest. If you lie to yourself and pretend you someone you not, no goal in life you ever make will be reached.

We all need to look deep into our hearts , take off the masks we wear and find out the people who we really are and not the people we pretend to be while thinking that if we act a certain way long enough we will eventually turn into those people.

  1. "No man has a good enough memory to make a successful liar." ~Abraham Lincoln

  2. I agree, Tam.
No relationships or friendships can be based on a lie. A successful relationship and friendship is bvased on trust and respect. When someone lies, they disregard you, your trust and your respect entirely.
